Hall of Shame

Have Manchester United got away with it again? Awarded a dodgy penalty, played on for 5 minutes of injury time until they scored or generally got lucky? Please e-mail us your stories and we will add your example to Manchester United's Hall of Shame.

1994 FA Cup Semi Final v Oldham Athletic at Wembley: Several minutes into injury time, Mark Hughes slips on his backside, his legs fly uncontrollably in the air. The ball hits one and loops into the goal forcing a reply.
Against Chelsea recently.....wen Tevez scored in about the 8th minute of injury time and wen Saha dived for the penalty that beat Chelsea 2-0 at Old Trafford: Alex Ferguson doing his theatrical shakin of his head when the board for 3 minutes woz put up but then satisified when they scored 3 minutes longer after the board had said. 88th minute, Chelsea on the attack and Manchester United under pressure, what do they do , they turn to there French flop Louis Saha for a moment of shame. He luckily gets passed Terry, sees Carvalho is behind Terry and falls over…obviously at Old Trafford and due to the money paid to the ref before hand by Carlos Quieroz….he had to give it to them….Even the penalty nearly missed!!!!!!!!!
During Stoke City's Boxing day match with Manchester Utd, Stoke's Andrew Wilkinson is inexplicably booked in the first half of the match for an innocuous challenge. The referee's brief is clearly to ensure wilkinson is sent off in order to protect Ronaldo.

A further innocuous foul is committed by Wilkinson on Ronaldo in the second half, giving the ref the excuse he needs. In fact the challenge is a response to Ronaldo having just kicked out at Wilkinson seconds before; a clear red card offence conveniently missed by Ferguson's lacky. This was also preceeded by Wayne Rooney elbowing Stoke's Ab Faye, a further red card offence missed by the referee.

Minutes before that, Edwin Van der Sar had spilt the ball out of the edge of his own area and is dispossessed by Ricardo Fuller, as fuller tries to round him Van der Sar pulls him down in the box. The replay of the incident shows that at 0-0 this should have been a penalty and a red card for Van der Sar, the ref is already thinking about how imortant it is to protect his career and appease sir Alex, so instead gives a free kick to Man Utd on the edge of their box, no-one has been able to forward an explanation of this decision. Minutes later, with Stoke down to ten men, Tevez scores the winner and only goal of the game, the ugly pig faced b******
The Roy Carrol incident against Spurs a couple of years ago, when the ball was obviously at least a yard inside
the goal. And the penalty they got against spurs a couple of weeks ago (April 2009). Excuse my English but i am an Norwegian
Spurs fan who really hates the scum.
08/09 Season. Vidic deliberatley fouls Steven Gerrard at Old Trafford and gets a straight red. Now usually this is a three match ban for a straight red but, being the scum he only got a 2 game ban and was back for the game against Chelsea. This has not happened before but. How fucking convenient. Corrupt w***ers. The lot of them. No passion. Just backhanders. I suppose it helps having one of your chairmen on the board of the FA. Anit Man U. I f***ing hate them.
Manure vs QPR. 7mins of injury time...so that Cantona can score and dashed QPR's hope of staying in the EPL. I think anyone's dislike of Manchester United stems from one particularly harrowing experience. Mine happened on March 16, 1996. My team, QPR, struggling after the sale of Les Ferdinand, were in a relegation dogfight but hope had been revived by the time United came to town. At 4.57pm QPR were heading towards a famous victory, one we like to think would have given the team the momentum to stay up that year and rapidly alter the course of our history. Instead by 4.58pm QPR had drawn after an impossibly late Eric Cantona header had deflated a confidence that was destined never to recover, 14 years down the line we’re still waiting. And QPR was relegated at the end of that season. It sparked off a series of unfortunate events at QPR, including another relegation to League 1.
